MBARI’s ROV Doc Ricketts is believed to have recently produced the very first video footage of a live deep-sea anglerfish in its natural habitat. These elusive and strange animals are rarely seen because of the depths at which they live. In fact, we only have only captured about half a dozen of them on film.
